One of Jay-Leigh's highlights was her time spent in the bustling atmosphere of our restaurant and bar during the Summer holidays. Surrounded by supportive colleagues, she found joy in connecting with a diverse range of guests. This experience honed her hospitality skills and broadened her understanding of global cultures as she engaged with people from all over the globe, wanting to talk with her about the South Coast.

Transitioning behind the scenes to the winery operations, Jay-Leigh discovered a newfound passion for the technical aspects of winemaking. Immersed in the process of transforming grapes into wine, she found herself intrigued by the attention to detail (and science!) involved. Working alongside the dedicated vintage crew, she gained invaluable insights into an entirely new industry.

Her time in grounds and maintenance provided her with a newfound appreciation for outdoor work and the importance of adaptability in facing new challenges.
