World Class Brewing with South Coast Style

Tucked behind Milton, standing small but strong against it’s older sibling (our winery) is our beloved microbrewery. Don’t be fooled by it’s title - like any younger sibling, our brewery in Ulladulla is proving to evolve and stand it’s ground against the big players in craft brewing, all because we let quality & character do the talking. Our head brewer Liam Jackson pushes the boundaries of beer production while perfecting classic styles that celebrate the craft of finding balance in complexities.

Milton’s Craft Brewery with Character

Like everything on site here at Cupitt’s Estate, our South Coast brewery resonates with tourists & locals alike as we strive to create the best quality beer that heroes craftsmanship and embraces change to bring out the subtle unique qualities of each batch. When you order a Cupitt’s Estate brew, you can do so with confidence that you’ll enjoy a consistent flavour profile for your favourite beers, but you’ll be searching for those subtle differences between visits that can only be celebrated in true Craft Brewing.

Brews with Views

It doesn’t get any better than finishing a day under the South Coast sun with a crisp beer while soaking in our breathtaking view. We know how lucky we are to be able to have a brewery in such a beautiful part of the world, and we don’t take it for granted. Sharing our special corner of paradise with you is what we love, so we decided to cement this adoration for location in the best way we know how, renaming our beloved brews. Each of our Core Range now incorporates a reference to place.

Milton Pilsner (4.8% ABV, 23 IBU)

Griff Cupitt works tirelessly behind the scenes here at Cupitt’s. We brew this beer for him – it’s his tipple of choice after a days work. Fermented cold with a German lager yeast, we add new-world hops for a subtle twist. Extended maturation leads to a beer that ticks all the boxes.

South Coast Session Ale (3.5% ABV, 15 IBU)

This mid-strength ale is anything but mid when it comes to flavour. Judicious use of Mosaic hops provide an array of tropical fruit character and a subtle bitterness, making for one moreish session beer.

Mollymook Pale Ale (5.2% ABV, 45 IBU)

A refreshing pale ale packed full of US Cascade hops and a nice dose of crystal malts mixed with the golden promise base malt.

Ulladulla IPA (6.5% ABV, 60 IBU)

Classic West Coast style India Pale Ale (IPA) with plenty of pine, citrus and tropical notes. A balanced malt backbone with a bold, bitter finish.

Hibiscus Wit (5% ABV, 12 IBU)

Blush pink, this wheat beer gets it's unique character from the addition of hibiscus flowers and coriander. With a light acidity, this is one proven thirst quencher.

Dark Lager (5.2% ABV, 25 IBU)

This German style schwarzbier treads a fine balance between classic lager drinkability and the moreishness of dark beer. A subtle aroma entices you into a clean and crisp palette layered with spice, roast malt and a hint of chocolate like sweetness.

Eclipse Hazy Pale (4.9% ABV, 30 IBU)

This hazy pale ale features a new star Australian hop - Eclipse. The aroma is fruity - Mandarin mostly, while citrus also comes through in the flavour, with a bit of a bite amongst a soft mouthfeel.

Cloudy Apple Cider (5% ABV)

This crisp, cloudy and incredibly refreshing apple cider is the perfect combination of dry & juicy. Made from five varieties of Tasmanian heritage cider apples it boasts both fruit flavour and a tight, thirst quenching finish.

Helles Lager (4.6% ABV)

We could wax lyrical about this beer, it's resemblance to the liquid gold that pours by the stein in Bavaria's great beer halls, it's soft, bready malt character and faint noble hop character - but you probably just want a delicious, subtle lager, whose presence takes a back seat to whatever conviviality you're getting up to. Tick.
