Cupitt’s Cloudy Apple Cider Caramel Recipe

Calling all caramel lovers out there, this unique take on a classic homemade caramel is simple, easy with an artisan twist – it’s made with our very own Cloudy Apple Cider.

This fabulous recipe celebrates a couple of milestones we’ve had here at Cupitt’s Estate recently, including the launch of our new menu that features our Pressed Pear, Cider Caramel & Hazelnut Crumble Dessert AND the fact that ourCloudy Cider is now available in cans!

With only 2 simple ingredients necessary, why not whip this one up this weekend and enjoy with just about anything – sticky date pudding, ice-cream, popcorn, your options are endless.

Ingredients

200g Sugar

100g Cider

Method

Place sugar in heavy based pot on medium heat

Cook until dark caramel starts to form, then pour in the cider to deglaze and combine.

Done! Pour over your favourite dessert or snack & enjoy.
