AT NSW TOURISM AWARDS

Cupitt's Estate in Ulladulla received a silver award for NSW’s best Tourism Restaurant at the NSW Tourism Awards held virtually on February 3rd 2022.  

Thefamily-owned and runbusiness were thrilled with their place."We arebeyond humbled and delightedto have won a silver award for the category for Tourism Restaurantin an extremely challenging two-year period that has been 2019/2021” says Libby Cupitt, Customer Experience Manager. 

"It has been such a tough time with thelockdowns, travel restrictions andhealth regulations, and our staff’s hard work andresilience inadapting to the constant changes in the workplaceis truly what makes us tick. We entered the awards as we were so proud of the resilience of our team and ability to adapt to change. It feels like we have tried so many new business pursuits in the last two years but never wavered from the core of who we are. We owe everything to the incredible work and commitmenttoour business that our team delivers and our loyal customers. 

In this period we have also developed a new arm to our business opening ten luxury pods alongside the restaurant with the view to giving our guests the ultimate gourmet escape. We hope that this recognition shines a light on the business as a great place to escape, unwind and indulge at Cupitt’s Estate 

Cupitt’s Estate is no stranger to the NSW Tourism Award success winning the Winery/Brewery/Distillery category for three consecutive years and entering the Hall of Fame, as well as Gold place for the Food Tourism category in 2018. 

"It has been a tumultuous couple of years but it has also shown Australians the quality of tourism experiences on their doorstep. The South Coast has always been appealing but people are also seeing the region as a safe and easy place to visit and there is something for everyone. We are constantly evolving our offering experiences to give more reasons to visit this glorious part of NSW”said Libby Cupitt. “Like most operators in our industry, it hasn't been easy but we are very positive that the future is bright and Australia’s love affair with the NSW South Coast will continue to grow."
