Behind the scenes. The story of Cupitt’s Estate villas.

Behind the elegant façades of our villas lies a story of collaboration, innovation and passion to bring them to life.

It began with a vision to create a retreat where guests could immerse themselves in the peacefulness of the rural landscape while staying in luxury. Our aim was to set a new benchmark for luxury with an outdoor bath option and private decks with outdoor lounges, all with views of the estate and rural pastures.

Architect Brett Sherson drew inspiration from the natural landscape surrounding Cupitt's Estate. He designed the villas so they are open to the sights and sounds of the surrounding estate. We then collaborated withPrefabulous,a modular building company renowned for its coastal-inspired designs, to bring the vision to life. Prefabulous embarked on a journey of creativity and craftsmanship to create our ten villas. From the selection of materials to the innovative design elements, every detail was carefully considered to ensure a harmonious blend of sophistication and authenticity. Prefabulous won the prestigious 2023 HIA-CSR ACT & Southern NSW Housing and Kitchen & Bathroom Awards in the category of Specialised Housing for the villas. They will also be entered into the running for the National HIA trophy in May 2024.

Our interior designer, Meg fromNeon White Design, worked closely with Rosie and Tom Cupitt to ensure that each villa was infused with personality and style, allowing our guests to unwind and recharge in comfort. Drawing inspiration from the surrounding landscapes and the vision of the Cupitt family, she curated a palette of rich textures and luxurious accents—a fusion of rustic elements with contemporary furnishings.

Marble accents, natural oak finishes and brass details adorn the interiors, giving the villas a feeling of understated elegance. We created a bespoke colour scheme to add timeless sophistication to each villa with selected artwork from Gallery Alchemy's collection. Every element has been thoughtfully curated to evoke a sense of peace and comfort, inviting our guests to unwind and reconnect with nature.

Guided by Rosie Cupitt's expertise as a trained horticulturist, the landscape design of Cupitt's Estate Villas goes beyond mere aesthetics—it's a testament to creating an oasis of privacy and sanctuary. Rosie enlisted the help of her sister, a wholesale nursery owner, to weave their botanical magic into the fabric of the estate. Together, they envisioned a garden that enhances the natural beauty of the surroundings and fosters an atmosphere of intimacy, calm and relaxation. Every plant, from the native species to the carefully selected blooms, was carefully chosen to integrate seamlessly into the landscape, creating a harmonious blend of nature and design.

Our guests can explore our lush pastures, indulge in our restaurant's farm-to-table cuisine, and enjoy our Cupitt’s Estate wine and beer range.

We’ve made sure that every detail has been taken care of so that our guests enjoy their stay with us in our villas. Book your stay today and find out for yourself.
