This International Women’s Day, we gathered at Cupitt’s Estate for a special event, bringing together incredible women from across our community to connect, share, and celebrate. With a focus on empowerment, inspiration, and giving back, we welcomed guests to an event filled with networking, delicious food, thought-provoking discussions, and entertainment—all supporting Safe Waters Charity.
A Warm Welcome with Coffee, Pastries & Mimosas
The day began with networking on the deck, where guests mingled over barista-made coffee, Cupitt’s mimosas, and yummybeurre noisettepastries. The vibrant morning sunshine set the perfect atmosphere for conversations, laughter, and meaningful connections before we came together for a group photo, capturing the energy and camaraderie of the day.
A Delicious Two-Course Lunch
Guests then moved into the restaurant for a beautifully curated two-course lunch featuring the freshest local ingredients and seasonal flavours:
First Course – Grazing Selection:
- House-baked sourdough with cultured butter
- Artichoke heart & lemon dip
- Buffalo mozzarella & Persian feta with pistachios
- Garden crudités & coloured tomatoes
Main Course – Shared Platters:
- Crispy-skinned ocean salmon with yellow tomatoes, zucchini, green olives & parsley
- Pan-roasted chicken breast with romesco sauce & rapini leaves
Sides:
- Salad leaves with fresh & pickled garden vegetables
- Fried whole baby potatoes with garden rosemary salt
Hearing from Inspirational Women
Over lunch, we are privileged to hear from three extraordinary women, each sharing their journeys, insights, and experiences in leadership, community, and resilience. Their stories sparked deep conversations, inspiration, and a renewed sense of purpose among our guests.
This was followed by a panel Q&A session, during which guests engaged directly with our speakers, asking questions, sharing thoughts, and gaining valuable wisdom from the discussion.
A Surprise to End the Day
To round out the celebration, we treated our guests to a special surprise entertainment performance, bringing energy, joy, and a little extra magic to the afternoon.
