Meet the Makers Festival - September

Now in its second year, the festival features more than 35 curated experiences across four weekends, celebrating the makers, producers, and creatives who shape the South Coast's vibrant identity. From hands-on culinary adventures to artisan workshops and long-table feasts, Meet the Makers invites visitors to immerse themselves in the story behind the product.

The festival launches with theMeet the Makers Collaborative Long Table Dinnerat Cupitt’s Estate on Saturday 6 September, a big, joyful feast that brings together local chefs, winemakers (that’s us!) and producers. Expect a menu shaped by Milkhaus, Appellation Oysters, Duro Pasta, Lagom Bakery and Martins Ridge farm, with drinks from Old Salt Distillery, Dangerous Ales and of course Cupitt’s wines. Tunes by The Castaways will carry the evening into a celebration of everything local. Fred Flowers will be making you say ooh aah with seasonal flowers. Tickets include welcome drinks and canapes on the deck followed by three course dinner and entertainment.

Cupitt's Estate is proud to be part of this exciting line-up with an additional two events that celebrate craftsmanship, connection and creativity.

The Winemaker's Way offers guests a behind-the-scenes look at how Cupitt's wines come to life. Hosted by winemaker Wally Cupitt, this immersive walking tour begins in the vineyard, moves through the working winery, and ends in the atmospheric wine cave for a tasting of the latest releases alongside a generous grazing platter.

Blend & Feast invites guests to get hands-on in the winemaking process. You'll create your own red wine blend with guidance from the Cupitt's winemaking team, before sitting down to a three-course feast where you can drink your creation. It's a perfect fusion of playfulness, palate, and place.
