Rosé is made in style to suit every palate. There are dry, off-dry and sweeter and sparkling examples. The base grape variety will also, in part, its unique flavour profile.

Pinot Noir-based Rosé, like our Rosie's Rosé, can be depended on to deliver good quality with soft, easy characteristics of plums, spice and an array of savoury fruits. Sangiovese typically produces drier styles of Rosé with savoury cherry flavours. Cabernet Rosé, likeRuby’s Rosé, is often a deep ruby-red with red wine-like flavours like cherry, black currant, and spice.

Rosé's reputation has soared; it is the most popular drink at Cupitt's Estate not only because it tastes delicious but its suitability to the South-Coast climate. As such, it makes a great alternative to a chilled white or a lighter-bodied red, and most groups of friends can happily settle on this as their choice. If you're not a fan of red wine, Rosé provides a fantastic introduction to what makes them so great. Conversely, if you turn your nose up at white wines, Rosé strikes a sublime middle ground that'll allow you to enjoy some of their cooler, more refreshing flavours.
