Real Wedding - Claudia and Steve

Some weddings have an effortless energy from the very beginning. This February wedding at Cupitt's Estate captured everything we love about summer celebrations on the South Coast - relaxed, joyful and centred around bringing family and friends together for an unforgettable day.

From the moment guests arrived, the atmosphere felt easy and welcoming. Rather than a formal occasion, the day unfolded more like a beautiful garden party, where everyone could settle in, enjoy the surroundings and simply celebrate alongside the couple.

Their ceremony was warm, personal and filled with genuine emotion. Surrounded by their favourite people, there was a real sense of connection that extended beyond the couple themselves.

As the celebration moved from the wine garden to the reception, the day flowed seamlessly. Guests wandered between spaces, taking in the vineyard views before settling in to enjoy seasonal dishes, estate-made wines and plenty of conversation. The relaxed pace meant the couple could be fully present, soaking up every moment without needing to think about the schedule behind the scenes.

Thoughtful personal touches made the day even more meaningful. One of our favourites was the handwritten notes written on the back of each guest's place card - a simple but heartfelt gesture that made every guest feel personally connected to the celebration as they sat down for the reception. More than a few laughs and tears were shared!

Looking back on their wedding, the couple reflected on just how effortless the experience felt.

"Thank you so much for making the day go so smoothly and for assisting us throughout. The atmosphere, the lovely staff, the great food and the terrific wine - it's such a stunning venue. You made us feel on top of the world - Clare and Ghia were amazing. It was good to know everything was running and happening without me. The planning was so smooth. 10/10, we loved every second and couldn't have asked for a better venue."

For our Events Coordinator Clare, it was a celebration that perfectly captured what makes weddings at Cupitt's Estate so special.

"It was one of those weddings where everyone was simply happy to be there," she said. "There was such a calm feeling throughout the day, and everything flowed naturally. It genuinely felt like I was a guest invited to the celebration. Those are the weddings you love being part of – effortless, joyful and full of good energy from beginning to end."

The day was beautifully captured by photographer Michael Boyle, whose imagery reflects not only the stunning setting but the genuine warmth and happiness shared throughout the celebration. Elegant pastel florals by Muscari complemented both the ceremony and reception spaces, while live music by Adrian Joseph and Ruby created the perfect soundtrack as guests celebrated well into the evening.

A wedding filled with thoughtful details, wonderful people and an atmosphere that felt completely relaxed - a beautiful reminder that the best celebrations are often the ones where everyone simply feels at home.
