Maddy and Mitch's Winter Wedding

They enjoyed winter sunshine, clear skies, golden sunsets and a lot of dance floor fun

"We had the most amazing time at Cupitt’s and received so many lovely compliments from our guests - everyone loved the venue, especially the food and Cupitt’s wine and beer. Our guests who stayed on site adored their villas and waking up to their own slice of paradise.
Cupitt’s Estate has always held a special place in our hearts, and from the moment we fell in love with the venue years ago, we knew it was where we wanted to get married. Clare and the entire team were incredible to work with—so supportive, seamless and thoughtful throughout the whole process. They truly brought our vision to life and made our day unforgettable. We are so grateful and can’t wait to return again soon." -Mitch and Maddy

Ceremony location - creamery doors

The bridal party was bathed in warm winter sunshine as they exchanged vows, creating a beautifully intimate atmosphere. The historic sandstone cellar door, framed by poplar trees, gave the space a distinctly European feel. Wooden cross-back chairs seated guests in comfort, setting the tone for a relaxed yet elegant ceremony. Stunning floral arrangements by Leah Mitchell Floral added layers of colour that flowed through the ceremony space and into the rest of the day, perfectly complementing the bridal bouquet and bridesmaids’ dresses.

Photography opportunities

The winter sunshine lingered into the evening, creating beautiful light for wedding photography across the estate. With vineyard views and rolling Milton hills as the backdrop, there were endless on-site photo opportunities - no travel required. This meant the bridal party could relax and enjoy canapés and drinks together during cocktail hour, making the photo session feel easy, fun and truly part of the celebration.

Long table reception

The long table reception was styled simply and beautifully with crisp white tablecloths and napkins, paired with light wooden cross-back chairs. Floral tones from the ceremony were continued inside to create a relaxed, cohesive look, while floor-to-ceiling views over the vineyard and rolling Milton hills set the scene. Thoughtful personalised touches (like maracas used as place cards) added a playful element and set the tone for a fun night ahead.

On-site accommodation

Staying onsite made the day even more special for the bridal parties, who got ready in the beautifully appointed villas. With warm wooden walls, stunning views, and landscaped gardens, the villas provided a relaxed and picturesque backdrop for pre-ceremony photos. Just a one-minute walk from the ceremony space, it made the whole day seamless and stress-free.

Dance floor fun

The dancefloor was full of energy, with everyone letting loose and celebrating together thanks to Anthony Hughes Music.

Mitch and Maddy had the best time dancing the night away with their friends and family, making the evening unforgettable.
